Elekta Installs Synergy in St. Luke’s Hospital

Elekta announced yesterday an agreement to install four of its Synergy systems in St. Luke’s Hospital, located in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the hospital’s plan to enable more aggressive treatment of tumors, while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

Elekta’s Synergy system is a medical linear accelerator that incorporates intensity modulated and image guided radiation therapy.
