New Nuclear Data Migration Services by Numa Introduced

June 5, 2007 - Numa introduced at SNM a range of services for the migration of data on legacy removable media to online DVD, RAID, PC hard drives and related PACS archive storage.

The ability to provide images online is becoming increasingly crucial as nuclear medicine and PET/CT departments move towards greater integration with mainstream radiology and as comprehensive image access across medical specialties becomes the norm.

The data migration service is designed to enable medical facilities to send images on existing removable media directly to Numa for customized data transfer to DVD or online media. The services upgrades existing storage on CD, MOD and tape flexible media and includes across nuclear medicine, SPECT and PET/CT. NumaRead automated image migration technology transfers entire image libraries. It also translates non-DICOM formats to DICOM and DICOM to standard formats.
