Philips, 3M Integrate Speech Recognition
October 9, 2007 - Philips announced that its speech recognition engine, SpeechMagic will be integrated into 3M Health Information Systems’ document creation suite of products, reportedly providing 3M’s customers with leading-edge documentation solutions and allowing Philips to further accelerate its growth in healthcare speech recognition.
3M customers will be provided with front-end and backend speech recognition, designed to significantly reduce document turnaround time and transcription costs, while leveraging 3M’s voice management system, flexible document creation tools and automated document distribution solutions.
