MammoMARK Takes Aim at Enhanced Marking Performance, Accuracy

Ethicon Endo-Surgery Inc. will showcase improvements to its Mammotome MammoMARK Breast Biopsy Site Identifiers, which reportedly further enhance performance and accuracy in marking.

The new bowtie-shaped marker complements the new design of the MammoMARK line. This titanium clip marker is embedded in a single, self-expanding collagen plug that expands up to 300 percent of its compressed size, yet it remains centrally located in the biopsy site after the collagen resorbs.
